Tiny Stars
While a star is still small,
we call it a tiny star.
Each one is shaped
a little differently.
A little rounder,
a little longer,
or leaning slightly to one side.
There are probably no two stars
with quite the same shape.
A tiny star is a star still to come.
What it will become,
no one knows yet.
As it receives light,
and through the time you spend together,
it slowly changes into a form that is its own.
A different shape
doesn’t make any star more special than another.
Its shape is simply
what makes that star that star.
The tiny star you meet
will surely have a slightly different shape, too.
Somewhere in the world,
time is passing today with a tiny star, too.
